Some of the art paintings, carvings, furniture etc. were part of the specific interior design ( a theme) of each 28 guest rooms of the hotel I used to own. The hotel, the restaurant, the gardens were a show case of where the hotel was located on Vancouver Island right on the edge of the Pacific Ocean looking to the Olympic mountains.
Room 14 The Victor Newman Longhouse room was all about First Nations art, The Chef Study was all about culinary art, even the railing on the loft was made out of large spoons, forks and knives.
